LOCATION

Frodsham, mentioned in the Doomsday Book, is an historic market town, civil parish and electoral ward n the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester. Its population was 9,200 at May 2015.

It is approximately 3 miles south of Runcorn, 16 miles south of Liverpool, and 28 miles south west of Manchester.

Frodsham lies just minutes away from the largest area of woodland in Cheshire, Delamere Forest, which is a haven for wildlife and a centre for a range of recreational activities from walking and cycling, to horse riding, ziplining at Go Ape even concerts and theatrical events in the beautiful woodland setting.

Modern city centre amenities and nightlife lie just a short distance away in beautiful, historic Chester, which is accessible by train in under 15 minutes and is home to the most complete walls, the oldest racecourse and largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, plus 1000 year old cathedral and 700 yer old unique shopping rows.

History

The building was originally constructed in 1837 as The Rock Wesleyan Chapel which closed in 1937 after which is became Frodsham Library and latterly a Doctors Surgery on the lower ground floor. The library moved and the doctors surgery closed in 2013.

This exciting scheme involves the conversion of the main building and extension, along with a new extension with under croft parking. During the design process the developers were keen to maintain as much of the buildings history as possible when designing the apartments.

Once completed, the thoughtful design will, in part, emulate a modern interpretation of the building originally constructed.

This unique development contains 12 individually designed layouts out of the 14 properties. Where possible, the developer has chosen to expose ad maintain original features in order to enhance the character and charm of the building.
